Going off-grid means you’ll run your entire home on clean energy and make the best use of your own generation. Grid-connected households are often wasteful with electricity, but a standalone system encourages you to step away from the costly ways of electricity. We’ll design a system that meets your needs with a plan that includes sizing, placement, and budget.
Going off-grid is a great way to meet your energy needs if you live in a remote location, want to be energy independent, save money on monthly utility bills, and live a sustainable lifestyle.
Produce an extra amount of electricity in the daytime and save in your batteries for storage (the energy stored in those batteries can then be accessed when the system is not producing during harsh or cloudy weather!)
Cheaper than running power lines to a remote location.
Off-Grid solar panels are always paired with battery banks. In this case, the solar panels charge the batteries, and your off-grid is powered by the energy stored there.

Have questions about our process? We have you covered.
How long does a typical installation take?
You can often expect to see your panels up and running in 2-3 business days.
Are you locally owned?
Yes! We are based out of Grand Junction, Colorado.
How long have you been in servicing Colorado?
Along with our experience in solar, we’re also an electrical company. Combined, we’ve been servicing western Colorado for 15 years.
Is SolarWorksGJ insured?
Yes! We staff master electricians and journeymen, so you can rest assured that your solar system is installed to the highest quality. We are fully insured to protect your investment and ours.
How do your prices compare to competitors?
We do NOT employ a sales team. For other solar companies, in some cases, 20% of the total cost goes to the salesperson. In that scenario, the customer pays the expense. We also do not outsource electricians. These two factors alone make our pricing extremely competitive. We will also work with you on custom payment plans as needed.
Does SolarWorks offer real-time monitoring of my entire solar array?
Yes - you can monitor every single panel individually from your phone.
